Labor Day and Early September

As of Friday the 10th, it's officially been a month since we left Virginia for the west coast!  Christopher and I are so relieved to finally be settling into a routine.  We are unpacking the last few boxes today (mostly my scrap booking materials and photo albums which were easy to tuck away while we tackled the bigger items after our arrival.  These were also the first boxes packed way back in June).   Menlo Park is gradually starting to feel like home.

As promised, here are photos from our Labor Day adventure into San Francisco as well as a few pictures from our time relaxing this weekend.
Brendan and Mae at Fort Mason in San Francisco

We walked past Ghirardelli on the way to lunch...tempting.

Crowded at Fisherman's Wharf.  We had to go at least once...

Alcatraz in the distance.  I wonder how much rent is there...

Christopher waiting patiently for our Ghirardelli Sundae -  we gave in...

Mae's got chocolate on the brain...

Don't worry, Brendan doesn't always look like this.  It's just Sundae madness.

We found a nice lounge chair marked way down at Target!

This weekend we "hiked" some of the shorter trails
at Wunderlich Park - only 10 minutes from our apartment.

Magical and Revolutionary...

Check back next weekend for updates!

  1. Mae you totally look like Mom in that pic of you in front of Fisherman's Warf. And that my friends is a huge compliment.
