4th of July Weekend!

Here are a few photos from our holiday weekend.  On Saturday, we spent the day with the Catheys and took a "field trip" down to Capitola.  We had a delicious fish and chips meal at a wharf at the end of a dock.  Chris made the discovery that this wharf is only 10 minutes from his office, so expect him to be looking a little heavier by the end of the summer...   

On Sunday, Christopher and I got an early start and drove over the mountains to Half Moon Bay and down the coast to a little beach called Bean's Hollow.  After spending some time reading by the sea, we hopped back in the car and continued our drive down through Santa Cruz and back over the hill to Menlo Park.  We stopped off at a cool lighthouse on the way!

On the 4th, we headed back down to Kevin and Leslie's place for pizza and reminiscing.   Here's a great photo taken by Kathy!

Now we're back to work.  The summer camp I'm directing is on break this week, so I've been enjoying a little more free time these past few days.  Christopher is working hard at his internship and getting ready to help lead some workshops (the New Musical Controllers and Stompbox Design workshops to be specific!) at Stanford for the next two weeks.  The weather has been nice and warm, so it finally feels like summer!
