Living in Menlo Park

It's been a few days now since we arrived in Menlo Park, and life is gradually getting back to normal.  Glynis and Anna flew back to Virginia on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.  They successfully passed the baton to Mae's mom, who arrived in the Bay Area this morning and will stay with us until Sunday.   The furniture should be arriving within the next day or so, and we will be very glad to have Linnie's help as we unpack and set up our new home!  Our apartment is in great shape and, amazingly, is even nicer than our old place in Reston.  We are really blessed to have found such a wonderful new space!

Here are a few photos from our first couple days on the west coast.

We drove up the coast on Monday.  This picture was taken
at Pacifica beach - about 30 minutes from our apartment.

We have a nice, big balcony that mostly looks out at trees.

Heaven is a bullseye, apparently, and you
get there by elevator.

Our first dinner at our new home.  Salads, Wine, and Tron.

Cheers!
