San Francisco Fleet Week!

Our good friend, Captain Michael Quin, was in town this weekend for SF Fleet Week.  It's been over a year since we last saw Michael in Virginia, so we jumped at the opportunity to catch up.  

After we watched an incredible show by the Blue Angels over the Bay, Michael gave us a VIP tour of the USS Bonhomme Richard.  Lesson of the day:  the designer of the waterfront in SF decided not to place the piers in numerical order, but rather to sequence even numbered piers northward and odd piers heading south.  Let's just say we took the scenic route from Pier 1 to Pier 30 and leave it at that...
