Jorie's Birthday Weekend! (Edit: Our 46th post!!!)

Back in October, Christopher and I made a quick weekend trip home to surprise my sister for a big birthday celebration planned by her husband Steve.  It was so nice to be back east, see our family, and experience some real fall weather!  Here are some photos from our visit:

Chris fuels up on coffee after our two hour post-redeye nap.

Wrapping presents!

So excited to surprise Jorie!!

Surprise!!

Sisters!!

The birthday girl!!

On Friday night, we sat around the Schmidt's new living room and visited like old times.

What a handsome guy!

Another dapper gentleman.  The Condon girls sure know how to reel 'em in!

On Saturday morning, we sat out on the front porch, had coffee, and enjoyed the crisp fall weather.

Strong California Coffee!

A little lunch before our trip to the pumpkin patch!

Celebrity couple - Stevrie?  Jordeve? Regardless, they look stunning!

Waitin in line for the pumpkin patch!

Visitors from the west!

Great looking couple!

In search of the perfect pumpkin.

This photo has no relation to the photo that follows, and it is not incriminating in any way.

It's ok, it was a ghost pumpkin...

It took about ten tries to get the next shot...this is an outtake from our attempts.

Pumpkin head II

Pumpkins were "all you can carry" for $20 - the catch was that only one person was allowed to do the carrying.  Steve just had to take three steps to win us our keep.

Go Steve!!  You can tell he has been pumpkin iron!

Linnie was blown away by Steve's pumpkin carrying abilities!
On Saturday night we had a lovely dinner at a Greek restaurant in Richmond called Stella's.  Chris snapped this shot of the birthday girl just before we stepped inside.

So many delicious options!

Hard to decide!

Two of our favorite people!

After dinner we reconvened at Jorie and Steve's place for cupcakes and a mini-dance party.

Glynis and Zach also celebrated birthdays in October.

Cheers!

Gettin' artsy.

The Condon gals.  We intended to take a couple nice photos, but it quickly devolved...
Awkward family photo!

"Arm shelf"

"Impromptu dance party"

"You are a pumpkin"
"You are paying a really big bill"

"You are paying a REALLY, REALLY big bill"
"You have a mouthful of grass!"

"Your hand got eaten by a seal"  (Love Mae's face in this one...)

"Who did it?"
"You are bummed the weekend is over."
