A couple weeks ago Intermedia Lab, one of my winter quarter classes, had an evening of final project presentations. Here are a few photos from the day!
Before the Intermedia Lab presentations, my other class, Mobile Music, had a big four hour final project milestone presentation session. Any four hour class requires copious amounts of food of course...
The milestones were bookended by Chinese food at lunch...

Leftovers... |
and King Kong pizzas for early dinner...
Jonathan Abel added some baked goods to the mix....
Here are shots from the evening of Intermedia presentations...

How retro |
|
Jiffer projected red and cyan lights through this sculpture, which produced 3D images on the background. |
|
Viewers could turn a crank to move hanging wire sculptures around the piece. |
|
I made a generative video feedback piece using images and sound from old home movies. It ran in the CCRMA
lobby for the evening. |

Talking to my advisor, Julius, about my project. |

Another view... |
|
A camera captured onlookers and integrated them into the image. |
|
The video was visible from the walk up the hill to CCRMA. |

Another shot from the front staircase |

These colorful images rapidly evolved as the source films looped. |
Here's a short video of my piece in action!
